1. Solutions for the complete expansion of footpaths and cycle paths

Ideas for new footpaths and cycle paths for all local roads
Ideas are listed here on how all local roads can be quickly and cost-effectively designed with clearly visible footpaths and cycle paths. Motorized traffic will not lose out. It just has to pay more attention to other road users and this is indicated every 100 m or so. According to StVO §1, we must all show consideration for each other:
(1) Participation in road traffic requires constant caution and mutual consideration.
(2) Anyone taking part in traffic must behave in such a way that no one else is harmed, endangered or hindered or inconvenienced more than is unavoidable under the circumstances.

Letter to the Ministers of Transport of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany
The letter contains the request for the inclusion of two new railroad lines in the TEN V network of the EU.

3. Bicycle garages and waste receptacle boxes

Explanation:
In a closed development it is difficult to bring the garbage cans, bicycles, strollers wheelchairs, etc. to the street or sidewalk. The basement stairs are often narrow and especially for the elderly the weights for the garbage cans and also e-bikes are difficult to handle.
In many other cities, there are already bike boxes in public areas that are rented out. Examples are e.g. Hamburg, Dortmund and also Düsseldorf. We see that also for our garbage containers the problems exist, therefore a uniform solution should be reached for both. That thereby a passenger car parking bay against approx. 3 bicycle parking bays and place for the attractive parking of the large garbage containers is omitted is accepted. Further variants e.g. with approx. 6 bicycles without garbage containers belong to the concept.
The trash receptacles can be shared. These bicycle boxes should be able to be used by small adaptations also for baby carriages, bicycle trailers, Rollatoren, wheelchairs, E-Roller etc., depending upon need. The size could be equivalent to a car parking space. This means that these vehicles can now be accessed directly from the front door, safely stored and will therefore be used more quickly, even for short journeys. This is true for children, as well as for older people and people with limitations, who now get more independence. They now need no, or less, help to provide vehicles on the footpath. The use of the bicycle is significantly supported.

 


4. Solution for central public transport stations e.g. at train stations

Central bus and city train stations rethought:
The buses will use ramps to go up to the 2nd level and from there down a glass shaft with elevators.
Solar panels are built above the elevator shafts.
The glass doors are right where the bus doors are.
The solar cells are on individual beams and
daylight shafts for about 40 tons are installed in the ceiling for lighting. This speeds up the trips and avoids the dangers with pedestrians.

5. Ideas for Rhine crossings Cologne - Bonn

Alternative Rhine crossings near Cologne and Bonn (sorry only in german)
Due to the new planning of Rhine crossings near Cologne and Bonn, I have, as with my other ideas, thought differently and presented new ideas. It was important to consider all road users and to include our climate problem with priority. A cable car could also be added, but it was not considered here.

Resource demand on the A40, which is currently being built

A demand: "why was a railway line not taken into account in the new construction of the A40 Rhine bridge?" came the answer, "the railways are responsible for that."

If we treat resources so lightly, we will have a problem saving the planet.

There is space above all traffic routes that we can use, we don't always have to consume new land. There are also double bridges. A connection between road and railway tracks on the same area.
